M28 Ministry recently had the opportunity to appear on iHeartRadio’s popular “Insight with Sylvia Maus” podcast to discuss opioid abuse, recovery, and how we help people achieve sobriety rates well above the national average. We appreciated this chance to highlight some surprising realities of substance abuse disorder along with reasons for hope and some of our success stories.

M28 executive director Jimmy Schambach appeared along with Mrs. Pennsylvania American title holder Susan Ewing-Rathfon, a three-year M28 board member who has been affected by family members’ substance use disorder and overdose. She has made that experience part of her impactful pageant platform titled Tragedy to Triumph.
